About Lauren

Lauren is a Registered Behaviour Analyst and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst® (BCBA®) who has been working in the field since 2016. She started her journey by completing her Bachelor of Arts in Child Psychology with the University of Windsor, then moving to George Brown College where she obtained her Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science, and then finally moved on to complete her Masters of Applied Disability Studies with a Specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with Brock University. Throughout her career, Lauren has worked with individuals who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), various developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and dual diagnoses. She has experience working with individuals across the life span, varying from 2 to 65 years of age. Lauren has experience working with individuals in multiple settings such as residential settings, family homes, schools, clinics, and daycares. Lauren comes with an abundance of experience in training mediators and developing evidence-based, behaviour analytic programs for individuals with complex behaviours in unique settings. Lauren’s clinical passions include teaching functional communication, promoting community inclusion, the dissemination of ABA, and mediator training.
